5:21 WAIT YOU CAN DO THAT?!?!
Surprised you never brought up Starcraft's codes, I played Starcraft so much with cheats I still remember most of them off by heart.
I had the secret codes book as a kid. I got it from my school's book fair. It was awesome
How can you make a video about cheats and NOT mention Banjo-Kazooie?
I used to do the Konami code on every game I played and every menu screen I saw.
2:46 I did the exact same thing except It was in Incredibles for the gba
Bruh my wifi is ass I cant even watch YouTube now it's just always buffering but I have good enough wifi to watch 480p
Shadow of the empire had amazing cheat code
I got 1000 master balls by cheating
One awesome cheat code I’ll always remember is
Bewareoblivionisathand
what about all lego games
The only time I’ve ever used a cheat code was to unlock all of Shaggy’s costumes in Scooby Doo!: First Frights.
Also Tt games in the LEGO games
Up twice down 9x
You have really easy game
If your not cheating your not trying.
I had the game shark when I was young. I loved it.
Basically cheat codes became DLC…..
Key note for anyone looking for a GC Action Replay.
I got mine for my birthday and it takes tons, and I mean TONS of tries just to get it to load, and sometimes when I swap out the discs the games don't even load and I have to start from square one all over again.
This is apparently a reoccurring thing in some GC Action Replay discs, as a conversation from 2004 (Yes, 2004) I found online was filled with people complaining how their GC Action Replays weren't working very well. According to the conversation I read, the company that makes them offered to fix the discs if you sent them in, though I don't believe they do that anymore since I sent them an email and they didn't respond, though the company is still active.
So just a fair warning, if you want to get an Action Replay, don't throw it away if it doesn't work very well. It works, it just takes time and patience. (Doesn't mean they all have problems though. Some discs work just fine)
My favorite cheat code is on skate 3 and it's miniskatrts and it make ur character really small
i remember getting my action replay for DS and stealing infernape from the fire elite four member in Platinum. idk why but that was the thing i remember the most from action replays
gotta say, absolutely love that Saints Row games have cheats still. it’s the best
Saints row :Am I a joke to you
Yes, yes, and yes
8:50
A random bottle of pepto bismol at the end
I hope Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 + 2 bring back cheat codes
Is there a single being on this planet that DOESN’T play San Andreas just by fucking around with cheats for a few hours?
It’s nice to see a gaming personality talk about the death of cheat codes and NOT say it’s because of a conspiracy to sell them to you as DLC
1:46 Lifeforce… Does anyone else love that game? I actually owned it on the NES when I was barely old enough to remember it. (I was born in 2001; my parents have always been laggards when it comes to buying the newest consoles.)
5:41 This must be fate. The camera perfectly aligns with all the cheat codes for Rampage: Total Destruction for the Gamecube, which I've had since childhood.
The only game I can think of that has cheats is gta 5 but that's like 7 years old
i recently homebrewed my wii, and played mario galaxy 2 with the cerebral palsy mario cheat enabled. oh boy. how fun.
Thanks to an action replay I have a level 100 shiny magikarp with judgement and v Create on my black 2 game
I'd say cheating then is more like modding now
